I løbet af sommeren 2019 drager Flat Bop på turné for at fejre udgivelsen. Det er lyden af tenorsaxofon, hammondorgel og trommer, der forener genrerne blues, funk, jazz og soul. Hammondorganist Gunnar Ringøen, saxofonist Christoffer Find og trommeslager Chris Falkenberg er gået sammen i dette klassiske trioformat og har sammen skrevet og arrangeret musikken. På udgivelsen medvirker Stefan Ringive som featuring på trombone.

Om udgivelsen fortæller Chris: ”Soupe de Loop er navnet på Flat Bops første udgivelse. Albummets titelnummer hed oprindeligt ”Soupe des Poulets”, der på fransk betyder kyllingesuppe. Det fungerede bare aldrig helt at sige den rigtige titel, og det endte altid med alt muligt andet. Derfor valgte vi til sidst at ændre det til Soupe de Loop.”

Gunnar tilføjer til titlen: ”Det er i virkeligheden ren volapyk, men for os lyder det som noget, der virker rart og godt. Som varm orgelsuppe på en kold vinterdag.”
